Choosing A Domain Name – Should It Be SEO Optimized?

Even though I have completed Modules 1 Day 1 thru 7 of the 30 Day Challenge, I am at a cross road, where I need to decide on the correct domain name for my business.  I never knew that choosing a domain name would be so difficult.

Choosing a domain name is not so difficult, it is only because I am having difficulty trying to choose the correct niche for me to promote.  Basically I have found three niches that meets the criteria for choosing a niche..

The Challenge criteria is to only choose a niche that has at least a Page to broad match (PBR) criteria of about 15 %, a SEOT competition value of at least 30,000 competing pages, and at least 80 visitors a day.

My three niches have passed this test, the only thing for me to do now is decide on which niche  to use for my domain name.

I have learned that the fastest way to choose a niche is to choose a niche that you know something about or a topic that you would like to learn something about.

When choosing a domain name we should always try to choose a domain name with our keyword included.  Studies have shown that a keyword rich domain name will give you the best chance on landing on the first page of Google. I always try to acquire a domain name with a dot com, dot net, or dot org, always.  When I can’t find a top level domain name with my keyword I will then try to find one with a phase match name.

30 Day Challenge – How To Start An Internet business

Believe it or not I have just completed last week modules 1 -7 of the 30 Day Challenge . I am still in a state of shock because of what I have learned.  This did not cost me any money at all except for 30 minutes a day, for the past seven days.  Marketers that offers this kind of training will charge you thousands of dollars for what I have received freely.

Have you ever heard of the Four Symphony to starting an internet business?  Well, let me briefly explain.  There are four parts to starting a business and I have learned to refer to these four parts as the “Magnificent Symphony” .

Click Here to read a Review of a resource that explains the Symphony of four parts in detail.

When starting an Internet business we must first be concerned with Market Research, which involves finding a Niche and a Market to investigate.  This is the first part of the Symphony.  The second part involves marketing for traffic to your Niche, or market.  The next step would be Conversion.  Conversion represents what the people would do once they visit your site.  The fourth and last part to the Magnificent Symphony would be acquiring you very own Product.

Ever wonder why so many people would fail when trying to setup an Internet Business?  The problem is always associated with part four of the “Magnificent Symphony”.  Every newbie, or new person always try’s to focus their attention on creating their very own product, without first investigation the market to see if people are actually buying, or if a market really exist for their product.

One way to be successful in starting and Internet Business is to let the market tell you what they want.  This is known as Market Research and Testing, which is the first part of the Symphony.
