Article Marketing Strategy – Manual Article Submission to Article Submission site

To be successful, and to get the most out of article marketing you have to first establish, or have in place an article marketing strategy.

What is article marketing?  First of all, if you are new to the field of Affiliate marketing and have somehow stumbled upon this article, then you may be wondering what article marketing is all about.  On the other hand, if you are searching for strategies in relation to article writing, then you must not be so new to this industry.  Whatever the reason, I can promise you that this article will help in some way.

In one of my other article on this website I have described in much detail the true meaning of article marketing, but let me basically explain here also.

Article marketing is a strategy that is taught to seasoned Internet marketers and newbies, because of the low advertising cost associated with this technique.  All that is required with this technique is time and discipline.

An article marketing strategy first begins with what you would like to write about.  This phase of the process starts with keyword research.  You have to first establish that there is actually traffic associated with your keywords, before writing your articles.

Articles can be written on any topic, but the best results are achieved by writing on topics that you know something about.  Topics can also be chosen within areas that you have no knowledge about, but have an interest in learning something about.

If you have no knowledge about a topic then research is needed to understand a topic.  In any event, by the time you had completed your research on a topic, you would have been well informed, and qualified to write about that topic.

Most of my articles have been written on topics that I know something about.  This saves me hours of research that I would have had to do, if I had no knowledge of my topic.

I am an Industry Professional presently working in the field of computers, so the majority of my articles are tech related. This same strategy can be applied to any field, but this strategy is also possible if you know nothing of a topic.  As I mentioned earlier, taking the path of writing about a topic that you have no knowledge about requires many hours of research.

Whenever I sit down to write my article, the first thing I would do is choose a keyword from within my profession.  My focus would normally be on the longer tail keywords in my profession, rather than on the broader keyword phases. You will have more chances of successfully ranking high in the search engines. if you use the “long tail” version of any keywords.

“Long tail” words may be words like, “how do I fix a laptop computer”, rather than the broader phase, “laptop computers”. Because I have chosen to write about the “long tail” version of the keywords, I would eventually rank high in the search engines for both keywords, overtime.

If you need further clarification on the term “long tail”, and other article marketing strategies, then I Invite you to visit my Review Page of a resource that has helped me tremendously.

After my article is written I will then proceed to research the best article submission site, or sites to submit my articles to.  I will normally choose article submission sites that have a page rank of about five and over.  Some sites that fit into this category would be E-zine Articles and Article Base.

I have used these sites many times in the past to submit my articles.  Not many back link building is required when articles are submitted to these sites.  The authorities of these sites are given to your articles instead causing your articles to rank very high in the search engines.  If your articles are properly written, then you will have much more success.

One question that comes to mind many times by newbies and experienced Internet Marketers would be “should I do manual article submission of my articles, or should I use some kind of robot software to do my submissions?”

Using automation in the submission of your articles to article directories has its place, but I tend to submit my articles manually.

If you would like to learn more about establishing an Article Marketing Strategy for your business, and information on how to automatically, and manually submit your Articles to trusted article directories, please visit my Review Page, where I talk about a resource that has tremendously help me.

Article Marketing for Newbies – Internet Marketing Help Is Here

When I think of Article Marketing for Newbies, what comes to my mind is a person not necessarily new in the field of Affiliate Marketing, but someone that has some basic understanding of the term “how to make money online”.

How to make money online for beginners, and terms like article marketing for newbies are both popular terms that are in the vocabulary of many beginners.  These two terms are searched for daily on the internet by newbies.  Article marketing reigns supreme, because it is one of the first concepts taught to newbies everywhere.

Article Marketing is one of the most basic free forms of advertising available today for professional marketers, and newbies alike.  Article Marketing is some time referred to as low cost advertising, or even “bum marketing”.

“Bum marketing” is a term made popular by a reputable marketer who created the concept of using free resources like Squidoo, and Word Press to setup websites.  These free resources were used in the absence of purchasing a domain name, and a hosting account to setup a website.

I know that some of these terms like Squidoo, and Word Press may sound a little intimidating at this time, but trust me; these terms will live commonly within your vocabulary as you begin your studies in article marketing.

Using free websites are okay when you are first starting out, but your ultimate goal should be to purchase your very own domain to setup your website.  Have you ever heard the term “online real estate?” Well owning your own domain name is considered online real estate.

Article marketing in its most basic form does not even require your own website to get started, but it is always advisable to own you own.

There are so many “schools of taught” available on line today that teaches Article Marketing from their own perspectives, without understanding the basic concepts of writing an article.  This within itself makes learning how to make money online for beginners really difficult at times, without having the right resources readily available.

When I first got started with Article Marketing, I was taught that if I created one article, I should submit that same article to multiple directories for better coverage.  I learned later on in the process that this was considered duplicate content.

Why should anyone place the same content within multiple directories? Common sense should tell a person that you should only place original content within each directory.  This would give your articles the ability to appear many times in the search engines when a person search for terms related to your articles.

At this time, I am going to assume, that if you are searching for information on article marketing for newbies, then you must have some understanding of the basic concepts of Internet marketing.

On the other hand, if you are new to Internet and Affiliate Marketing then you can check out my mini review of The Super Affiliate Handbook.  This resource is really good for beginners and seasoned marketers alike.

Article marketing basics begins with researching, or choosing a keyword to write your article on.  This process is called keyword research in Internet marketing circles.  When searching for a keyword to write your article on, you have to ensure that there are actually people searching for your keyword online, otherwise you would be wasting valuable time.

Keyword research begins with finding a market, or group of people searching for a solution to a problem.  When I am doing my market research for my keywords, I use sites like Amazon and a free tool from Google to find markets, and keywords that I can research further to write my article on.  I do not know how I would have survived without these resources.

Like I mentioned earlier, if you are overwhelmed, and need further clarification on some of these terms, then please read my review of a resource that has tremendously help me.

Click Here to view my review of this resource.

If you want to be successful in your research efforts, it is best to choose a keyword from a market that you are familiar with, or have an interest in learning something about.  I am an Information Technology specialist, and most of my articles are written about concepts within this area.

If you have interest in an area, or want to learn something about an area, then you will be more motivated to write on your chosen topic. Article Marketing works better this way.  I am not saying that it is not possible to write about a topic that you do not know anything about, because I did so on many occasions.  It’s just that it is usually easier to write on a topic you know something about or a topic that you are interested in learning about.

The concept of keyword research can be very comprehensive at times, and the scope of this article does not allow me to explain in much detail.  Just remember that writing your first article will require at least a seed keyword to begin with.

There I go again, talking about terms that you may have never heard anything about.  Let me basically explain.

A seed keyword is a keyword discovered on a broader part of a market.  A good example of a seed keyword can be “Computers”.  Using the term “computers” I can drill down further to come up with “laptop computers”, and then “mini laptop computers”.  My article is normally written on the broader part of the keyword.  A good keyword to write my article about would be “mini laptop computers”.  Our article will stand the best chance of ranking in the search engines if we write it using the longer term, rather than my seed keyword “Computers”.  The longer term is known as the “long tail”

For further clarification on article marketing for newbies, and other Internet and Affiliate Marketing related concepts, please check out my review of the Super Affiliate Handbook,  you will thank me for it later.

2012 Predictions Internet Marketing – Death of the Back Link?

Just the other day I was listening to a podcast on the topic “2012 Predictions Internet Marketing”, from a reputable Internet marketer, and mentor that I normally follow. The podcast talked about how and where the market was headed in reference to the Kindle, I-Pad and smart phones. It also made reference to back links, and how back links would be affected in the future. Reference was also made about the new Google plus one (Google +1) and how any marketer that has a web presence will need a Google plus one account, in order to survive.

A claim was made by the presenter saying that the only persons doing back links now are Internet marketers and spammers. The regular person searching on Google like Jane and Sue for information tends to always like rather, than back linking if they find information that they like. Having a Social presence on the Internet in 2012 will also be an asset.

Have you done a search on Google lately for a hotel? Basically you would notice that the top listing that shows up does not necessarily show brand hotels. All that might be displayed are information from marketers and spammers. Google is trying to change this. That is why they are putting so much emphasis on Google plus. Any marketer that wants survive in the future on the web should begin tying their content back to their Google plus profile. Google wants to put a face to the content that is displayed for their users.

Is the back link really dead? It appears from the podcast that the Google plus will eventually replace SEO back linking. Off course this will take time. What is Google Adsense and How Does it Work

Many persons just starting out in Internet Marketing are wondering what is Google Adsense and how does it work?  I had this same question many years ago, but now I understand the basic meaning and concepts, of using Google Adsense.  Many of my websites are presently being monetize using this simple monetizing strategy.

Google Adsense can somewhat be compared to an affiliate program.  Affiliate programs allows you to sell products you do not own, in return for a commission.  Marketers using Google Ad words for their marketing campaigns sometime choose the option of allowing their adds to be displayed within Google’s Content network.

Using the content network is how we sometimes get Google Adsense adds on our websites. Ad-words are paid advertisements used by marketers to get the word out about their product, or services.  Ad-words is Google’s flagship advertising medium.

Now that we have the basic concepts out of the way, lets drill a little deeper into our topic, “what is Google adsense and how does it work?”.

When websites are setup by Internet and Affiliate marketers, they usually look for ways to monetize their sites.  Monetizing refers to being able to make revenue from your websites, to cover the cost associated with the up keeping of your website.  Many marketers will use Adsenss to do this, because of the simplicity of this advertising strategy.  Even popular article directories uses Adsense to monetize their websites.  In fact, this is one of the major ways that article directories survives.

To be able to participate in the Adsense program you will need a website and an account with Google adsense.  When you first setup your website you will need to put content on your website in the form of quality written articles, before Google can place adds on your site.

Adds are added to your site based on the content of your site. When you apply for an adsense account, you may have to wait several week for Google to approve your website.  That is one of the reasons why quality content needs to be placed on your site, prior to applying for your  account.

Once you have content on your site, and an approval from Google, you can begin the process of generating targeted Adsense adds to your website, in an effort to attract relevant click from your visitors. For these add to be automatically generated, you will have to install code received from Google to your website.

Making money with Adsense begins by a visitor entering into Google and exact phase keyword about something they are interested in.  Once they visit your site, and begin to read the content on your site, they sometime notices text and graphical adds generating from the Adsense code that was placed on your site.  If the visitor click  one of these adds, you will receive a portion of the revenue generated for that click from Google.

The amount that is received from this one click can add up over time to a considerable amount of funds.  These funds can be further increased by building many other sites relevant to words that persons may search for using the Google search network.

I am sure by now that the answer to your question “what is Google Adsens, and how does it work”, is a littler clearer by now.  Just remember that Google Adsense is basically a programs that is mostly used by affiliate marketers, and Article directory owners to help in the cost of running their websites.

Google Adsense is also one of the most easiest forms of monetizing that any beginner marketer can use. Even though each click only generates up to  one dollar at times, this can grow overtime into hundreds of dollars.

Affiliate marketers every where are  using this form of monetizing. So what is Google Adsense, and how does it work? By now you should be an expert at this topic.
